Basic Instructions:

  1. Begin by determining the distance desired between balusters.

  2. Install the brackets on the bottom of handrail, centered and at equal distances apart.

  3. Cut your 1/2” metal balusters to desired length making sure that both ends are open for the plastic inserts to be installed inside each end of the baluster. You must also consider the length of brackets that will extend past the baluster. Approximately an additional 1/2 “ on each end.

  4. Install plastic inserts into each end of the baluster using a hammer making sure that the open end is facing out. (Shavings are normal)

  5. Install one of the connectors on the bottom of the baluster after placing the shoe on the same end.

  6. Place shoe on top of baluster and screw the same end clockwise, onto the bracket that is attached to the hand rail.

  7. Align the bottom bracket to the bottom surface (this could be a step or plate or wood molding), making adjustments for length by screwing the bracket in or out before attaching.

  8. Place shoes over connectors and tighten.
